In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events."

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَأهل القرآن يُدبِّر الله شؤونهم، أعجز عن وصف الحياة الإستثنائية الآمنة التي يُعيّشنا فيها القرآن، مما يجعلنا لا نخشى قادم الأيام مهما بدى لنا غموضها، نشعر دائمًا أنّا في كنفِ الله ورعايته، الحمدُ للّٰه على نعمة القرآن ..🤍💕🍁🍂🌱
