На лекцию с подведением итогов принесли понюхать выпуск журнала Nature (май 1936 года). Очень интересно, конечно, сравнить с современными. Не представляю себе расклад, когда на 3-4 обложке научного журнала будет реклама «Весь О'Генри в книге за 1 доллар».

Кроме того, как видите, какой там только рекламы нет. И газонокосилки, и отели, и парки ~~Юрского периода~~ развлечений, продажа птиц, рептилий, собак, ракушек, марок, услуги фотографа и ремонт фотоаппаратуры, набивка чучел... В общем, раньше научные журналы выглядели поинтереснее )

Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. Following this, Sebi, in an order passed in January 2022, established that the administrators of a Telegram channel having a large subscriber base enticed the subscribers to act upon recommendations that were circulated by those administrators on the channel, leading to significant price and volume impact in various scrips. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup.
