В 2023 году Александра Сизикова приговорили к 17 годам лишения свободы по делу «Хизб ут-Тахрир». В сентябре 2024 года апелляционный суд утвердил приговор. Сизиков потерял зрение после ДТП в 2009 году, а вследствие другого несчастного случая у него вырезали селезенку.
