Герои среди нас! В прошедшую пятницу вручили звание Почётного гражданина города Красноярска Леониду Тихоновичу Сабинину, который стоял у истоков регби в Красноярске.

Сегодня наши парни из «Красного Яра» сделали отличный подарок болельщикам и всему Красноярску. В День рождения города одержали победу в матче 5 тура PARI Чемпионата России. Соперником наших ребят был «Металлург» из Новокузнецка.

Счёт — 68:14. Спасибо за красивую игру.

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows.
