I think I'm worried about the concept of "hope" recently. it's seemingly seen as this cautious thing, a delicate glass butterfly of an idea.
hope is the weeds growing in yards. hope is the mice and cockroaches. hope may be small, but it's damned tough. it keeps coming back, you can't be rid of it.
hope is stronger than I've seen it get credit for, and should be leaned on.

For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders.
