لا أرى في الدنيا كلها عبادة أصعب من الصبر بالنسبة لي؛ أن تتدهور أمورك كلها فجأة وتضيق بك الدنيا من كل اتجاه ورغم ذلك تصبر وترضى بقضاء الله وقدره، تلك عبادة غاية في الصعوبه وتتطلب إيمان بالله قوي جدًا.. الصبر بشكل عام عبادة عظيمة جدًا، فكرة الصبر نفسها اختبار صعب جدًا للنفس، لذلك قال الله عز وجل "وبشِّر الصابرين".
