🔺В Махачкале две улицы названы в честь отважных дагестанцев. Бывшая Туралинская 3-я теперь носит имя Мухтара Сулейманова, а Туралинская 4-я — Абдулхалика Курбанова. На этих улицах также установлены мемориальные доски в их честь.
🔺 Инициатива увековечить память героев была озвучена в год 80-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. Глава Дагестана Сергей Меликов поддержал это предложение после обращения жителей на прямой линии в ноябре прошлого года.
Мухтар Сулейманов и Абдулхалик Курбанов служили на 7-й пограничной заставе «Бежта» Хунзахского пограничного отряда и геройски погибли в 2004 году, выполняя свой долг.
