Статуя находится в селе Санага Закаменского района — в местности «Нур» недалеко от Санагинского дацана. К ней ведёт тропа в 2 км — вдоль неё установлены смотровые площадки, скамейки и беседки.
На открытие приехали паломники и туристы из других регионов России и Монголии. С утра в селе Санага идёт молебен — ламы читают мантры, а верующие преподносят далга и хадаг в знак почтения.
