Как добираться до Городца? В старые времена, конечно, по Волге-матушке. Реки - дороги на Руси. Сейчас - ежели не садиться за руль - то по железной дороге до Нижнего Новгорода, а там ещё около 60 км по шоссе. И Нижний тут совсем не лишний! Он прекрасен! Было бы время. Бывший закрытый город хорошеет на глазах (кодовый "мем" - даже вечный синий забор на набережной убрали). Новые пешеходки, речной транспорт, тема гастротуризма, Кремль, наконец - амфитеатр для любования закатами! Нижегородцы объявили свой город Столицей закатов. Почему нет? Молодцы, придумали своё, а не взяли соседское.
PS. за мощным пиаром сейчас уже многие и забыли, что Золотое Кольцо началось с Суздаля, с командировки журналиста Бычкова именно в Суздаль (а не в Ярославль) где шла комплексная реконструкция города с целевым назначением "туризм" и строился Главный(!) Туристический Комплекс Золотого Кольца древних городов России.
