Губернатор Валерий Лимаренко проинспектировал строительство новой взлетно-посадочной полосы в аэропорту Южно-Сахалинска. Работы идут в рамках нацпроекта «Эффективная транспортная система».
На сегодня готовность объекта — 45%. До конца года подрядчик должен завершить бетонирование. Запустить полосу в эксплуатацию планируют в сентябре 2026 года, полностью достроить — к декабрю 2027-го.
Протяженность полосы — 3400 метров, ширина — 60. Она позволит принимать любые типы воздушных судов и повысит регулярность рейсов при плохой погоде. В перспективе — рост пассажиропотока до 2 миллионов человек в год.
После прошлогодней паузы из-за финансовых трудностей стройка вернулась в активную фазу: на площадке уже 75 человек и 18 единиц техники. В июне число рабочих вырастет втрое.
Власти держат проект на жёстком контроле — график обещают не срывать.

The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
