Демографический рейтинг регионов — 2021 РИА Новости в очередной раз подтвердил сложную ситуацию с демографией в Саратовской области, которая на этот раз оказалась на 73 месте среди 85 российских регионов. Это на две позиции хуже, чем годом раньше.
На 1 января 2021 года в Саратовской области проживало 2,395 млн человек, убыль населения за 2018-2020 годы – 2,6%. Естественная убыль населения за тот же период (родилось меньше, чем умерло) - 45,8 тыс человек, миграционная – 20, 7 тыс человек.
В среднем по стране убыль населения за 2018-2020 годы составила 0,5%.
