أفادت شرطة مديرية المخادر بمحافظة إب أن كلاً من: المدعو " فاضل حافظ البرمكي. والمدعو "عرفات عبدالغني البرمكي. والمدعو " حمزه علي الجعشني" والمدعو "جمال جميل البرمكي" ومعهم آخرين كانوا يستقلون دراجات نارية؛ قاموا بأطلاق النار على كلٍ من: - قائد عبدالله علي الجمال (50عاما)، وإبنه عبد الله قائد الجمال" مانتج عن وفاة الإبن نتيجة اصابته بعدد من الطلقات النارية، وإصابة الأب بطلقة نارية في البطن.
كما أصيب المتهم فاضل حافظ البرمكي، بطلقة نارية في الفخذ نتيجة رد المجني عليه بإطلاق النار.
وأشارت الشرطة إلى أن الحادثة كانت نتيجة خلاف بين الطرفين على ملكية أرض، وقد تم ضبط المتهم الأول بينما التحريات جارية لضبط بقية المتهمين.
