Такой пункт Минэкономразвития включило в проект плана мероприятий по реализации Стратегии социально-экономического развития РФ с низким уровнем выбросов парниковых газов до 2050 года. Определить механизм уплаты «цены на углерод» планируется к 2028 году.
Ранее Минэкономразвития, ответственное за климатическую повестку в России и декарбонизацию, о планах ввести плату за выбросы не заявляло.
В ведомстве сообщили, что исходят из поэтапного и сбалансированного подхода к введению цены на углерод, которая должна будет поддержать модернизацию экономики и развитие наукоемких отраслей.
