در ویدیویی که اخیراً در شبکه‌های اجتماعی منتشر و وایرال شده است، صحنه‌ای از یک کلاس درس نشان داده می‌شود که در آن یک معلم برخلاف وظیفه ذاتی خود در ارائه آموزش برابر به همه دانش‌آموزان، یک کودک افغانستانی را به بهانه وطن‌پرستی مورد تحقیر قرار می‌دهد.
شورای هماهنگی تشکل‌های صنفی فرهنگیان با انتشار این ویدیو تذکر داده: هرچند چنین رفتارهایی از سوی معلمان محدود و نادر است، شورا پیش‌تر نیز بر این نکته تأکید داشته است که برخورداری از آموزش برابر و باکیفیت، حق همه کودکان است، صرف‌نظر از نژاد، ملیت، جنسیت یا مذهب آنان.
بی‌شک این رفتارهای نژادپرستانه محکوم است و نمونه‌های محدود از آن نباید به کل معلمان تعمیم داده شود؛ زیرا بسیاری از معلمان عاشقانه و بدون هرگونه تبعیض در حال آموزش کودکان در سراسر کشور هستند.
