21 октября 1962 года на перегоне Луговая-Муньке Казахской железной дороги в Джамбульской обл. (ныне Жамбылской обл., Казахская ССР) произошло столкновение грузовика, перевозившего учащихся 5-6 классов школы с. Луговой, и пассажирского поезда №84. В трагедии погибли 14 детей, еще 17 ребят и учительница были ранены.

Расследование ЧП показало, что Луговской райком вопреки запрету ЦК КП Казахской ССР организовал выезд несовершеннолетних учеников на уборку свеклы в колхоз "Путь коммунизма". При этом организация оставляла желать лучшего: в грузовых отсеках перевозилось по 30 и более детей, машины не сопровождались сотрудниками ГАИ и т.д. В итоге водитель одного из грузовиков поехал через нерегулируемый переезд, где и столкнулся с поездом.

Сведения о произошедшем публикуются впервые. Документ выявлен в РГАНИ к.и.н., научным сотрудником ИРИ РАН Петровой Т.М.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation.
