Суд отклонил кассационную жалобу защиты Олега Орлова* и оставил в силе приговор правозащитнику по делу о дискредитации армии.
Напомним, осужденный на 2,5 года по делу о дискредитации армии сопредседатель Центра защиты прав человека "Мемориал"* Олег Орлов* 1 августа 2024 года был освобожден в рамках обмена заключенными с западными странами. Орлов* заявил, что правозащитная деятельность в регионах СКФО и ЮФО была причиной, из-за которой он оставался в стране, несмотря на уголовное преследование. Он отметил, что продолжит защищать права человека на юге России в дистанционном формате.

Суд отклонил кассационную жалобу защиты Олега Орлова* и оставил в силе приговор правозащитнику по делу о дискредитации армии.
Напомним, осужденный на 2,5 года по делу о дискредитации армии сопредседатель Центра защиты прав человека "Мемориал"* Олег Орлов* 1 августа 2024 года был освобожден в рамках обмена заключенными с западными странами. Орлов* заявил, что правозащитная деятельность в регионах СКФО и ЮФО была причиной, из-за которой он оставался в стране, несмотря на уголовное преследование. Он отметил, что продолжит защищать права человека на юге России в дистанционном формате.

Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities.
