Как сообщил глава республики Артур Парфенчиков, сообщение об аварии поступило в 6:34 утра. По его словам, перемычку устанавливали на время реконструкции. По направлению движения сброса воды находится дачный кооператив «Балтийский», при шлюзе прописаны 11 человек.
По данным «Базы», сейчас пропавшими без вести числятся 6 человек. Ещё троим удалось спастись.
В настоящее время уровень воды уже спал, однако власти всё равно приняли решение провести эвакуацию ближайших населённых пунктов. Связи в районе происшествия нет. Дорогу тоже размыло. На место направлена авиация из Санкт-Петербурга.
