Владимир Мединский и Захар Прилепин открыли в Нижнем Новгороде первый в России региональный Дом писателя.

"Уверен, что Захар Прилепин создаст здесь атмосферу открытого и честного диалога, способствующего творческому развитию. С учётом литературного наследия — Мельникова-Печерского, Короленко, Горького — мы можем ожидать появления новых выдающихся авторов", - прокомментировал губернатор Глеб Никитин.

Дом писателя станет площадкой для проведения творческих встреч, презентаций, семинаров, школ писательского мастерства и других мероприятий. Центральный зал будет открыт для свободного посещения.
