Last Update:
Good evening. We'd like to further clarify our above statement.
Josh attended a meeting as a guest, but is ineligible for membership of our association due to his ethnicity (half Australian by European descent, and half Sri-Lankan). Some confusion arose over his mere attendance a meeting as an onlooker, being tantamount to enjoying membership of the Association. To make this distinction more clear: our members have duties, voting powers, right of appeal, right to review the treasury, and can benefit from our financial assistance programs. Membership is granted only after a thorough vetting, induction, and swearing-in process.
Additionally, in the same breath which the above confusion occurred, a series of stone-throwing statements were made at other nationalist personalities. We have always maintained a policy against this. As men of honour, we've always aired our criticisms man-to-man, as we'd encourage others to do the same with us.
Let there be no Chinese-whispers: we do not refrain from a clear commitment to a homogenous Australia of European racial parentage. Our organisation has and will never admit to the rights of membership men who are not clearly and exclusively of European descent, and who subscribe to our Charter of Principles.
The National Committee has reviewed the tolerance that was extended to allow Josh to attend a meeting as a guest: and has found fault. The Committee therefore reviewed our policies and procedures and has resolved that no further exceptions to the existing rule be allowed. Only members and genuine prospects to membership can attend meetings of the Association from now on.
We look forward to sharing more with our followers about our structure, standards, processes, and benefits to membership.
We remain yours, for Australia,
The ANA National Committee
