این خبرگزاری به نقل از شش فرمانده محلی چهار گروه شبه‌نظامی بزرگ که نامشان را ذکر نکرد نوشت هدف از این اقدام کاهش تنش در پی هشدارهای مکرر مقامات آمریکایی به دولت عراق از زمان آغاز دور دوم ریاست جمهوری دونالد ترامپ در ژانویه است.
این فرماندهان به رویترز گفته‌اند اگر بغداد برای انحلال شبه نظامیان فعال در خاک خود اقدامی نکند، آمریکا این گروه‌ها را هدف حملات هوایی قرار خواهد داد.
به گزارش رویترز این عده که خواستند نامشان فاش نشود، فرماندهان گروه‌هایی مثل کتائب حزب‌الله، نجباء، کتائب سیدالشهدا و انصارالله الاوفياء بودند که در بغداد و یکی از استان‌های جنوبی عراق با آنها مصاحبه شده است.
به گفته رویترز این گروه‌ها جز ۱۰ گروه شبه‌نظامی شیعه با حدود پنجاه هزار نیرو هستند که به نیروی قدس سپاه نزدیکند.

At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup.
