امیر رئیسیان، وکیل دادگستری در گفت‌وگو با «امتداد» با اشاره به آخرین وضعیت پرونده پخشان عزیزی، زندانی سیاسی، اظهار کرد: «پس از صدور حکم اعدام برای خانم پخشان عزیزی در شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به اتهام بغی، وکلای پرونده، با استناد به مدارک موجود، درخواست فرجام خواهی خود را در دیوان عالی کشور به ثبت رساندند. این پرونده هم اکنون در یکی از شعب دیوان عالی کشور در حال رسیدگی است و مدارک متقن و تایید شده‌ای از مراجع رسمی مبنی بر فعالیت‌های بشر دوستانه و مددکارانه موکل در اردوگاه‌های آوارگان جنگ داعش به شعبه ارائه شده است.»
او ادامه داد: «به رغم ادله و مدارک ارائه شده به دیوان عالی کشور، شنیده‌ها حامل اخبار خوشایندی نیست که امید به تبرئه خانم پخشان عزیزی از اتهام بغی و البته مجازات اعدام در نظر گرفته شده برای او را کمرنگ کرده است.»
لازم به ذکر است، آقای رئیسیان در استوری اینستاگرام خود خواستار توجه فوری و ضروری به پرونده پخشان عزیزی شده است و این خود گویاست که جان پخشان عزیزی در خطر جدی است.
