در سال‌های گذشته مسئولان استان کردستان در صدد بوده‌اند تا با ورود به این این مراسم و تأثیرگذاری بر آن، مراسم و روستا را به ثبت جهانی برسانند اما تاکنون موفق نشده‌اند.
