برخورد الاستیک ( Elastic collision) به برخورد دو جسم گفته می‌شود در صورتی که مجموع انرژی جنبشی دو جسم قبل و بعد از برخورد مساوی باشد. برخورد الاستیک در صورتی اتفاق می‌افتد که هیچ نوع تبدیل انرژی جنبشی به انواع دیگر انرژی رخ ندهد. در حین برخورد اجسام کوچک، ابتدا انرژی جنبشی به انرژی پتانسیل مربوط به نیروی دافعهٔ بین ذرات تبدیل می‌شود، بعد این انرژی پتانسیل دوباره به انرژی جنبشی تبدیل می‌شود. برخورد اتم‌ها از نوع الاستیک است.

But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation." Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
