این جلسه تماما به بررسی یک کیس استادی گذشت: یک کیس استادی در مورد یک مطالعه در دانشگاه برکلی که در بین ۱۴۴ دانشجوی رشته‌ی ام بی ای این دانشگاه تاپ هیچ کدام‌شان نتوانسته بودند ۸ سوال نسبتا ساده و بنیادین در مورد تغییرات آب و هوایی را به درستی پاسخ بدهند. اصل موضوع این بود که آگاهی در مورد مسائل عمومی در بین مردم تا چه حد باید عمیق باشد؟ مثلا تا چه اندازه باید از تغییرات آب و هوایی بدانند؟ آیا اگر کم بدانند اما درست عمل کنند خوب است؟ آیا درست عمل کردن کافی نیست و باید دانش هم زیاد شود؟
یک کتابی هم توی اسلایدها معرفی کرد: Rules of Experts- Egypt- thechno politics, Modernity. نوشته‌ی تیموتی میشل. به فارسی ترجمه نشده این کتاب. رفتم مقدمه‌ی این کتاب را یک تورقی کردم. خیلی سنگین بود و راستش از آن کتاب‌های «بزن زیر میز». چون حس کردم نویسنده‌اش خیلی از قوانین دنیای قشنگ نو را می‌خواهد به چالش بکشد. اگر فرصت داشتم حتما با دقت می‌خواندمش.

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers.
