🔻مسئله امام حسین (ع) یک مسئله کاملاً انسانی است، حتی شخصیت‌های بزرگی مانند مهاتما گاندی از آن الهام گرفتند.
🔻امام حسین (ع) نه برای کسب قدرت یا رهبری، بلکه برای اصلاح امت برخاست، ظلم و فساد را رد کرد و در برابر ظلم یزید بن معاویه ایستاد. خون امام حسین (ع)، اهل بیت و یارانش که همراه او شهید شدند، گواهی است بر اینکه حق نمی‌میرد و هر ظالمی بالاخره سقوط خواهد کرد، هرچقدر زمان بگذرد.
فضای اربعین این معنای عمیق را منعکس می‌کرد.
🔻هر انقلابی که اصول خود را از انقلاب امام حسین (ع) نگرفته باشد، محکوم به شکست است زیرا حسین (ع) نماد خوبی و حق است و یزید نماد شر و ظلم.
امسال حضور متنوع در مسیر پیاده‌روی از مسلمان و غیرمسلمان، از ادیان و فرقه‌های مختلف چشمگیر بود؛ این مسئله نشان‌دهنده آن است که امام حسین (ع) فراتر از چارچوب‌های قومی و دینی است و نمایانگر مسئله‌ای انسانی و فراگیر برای همه آزادگان جهان است.
