Боевая бронированная машина Tempest 4x4 Mine Protected Vehicle была изготовлена для британской армии в количестве восьми единиц. Бронемашины принимали участие в боевых действиях в Ираке, на Балканах и в Афганистане.

Для украинской армии эти бронемашины были закуплены в частном порядке у дилеров, продающих излишки военной техники в Великобритании.
