Ровно год назад из-за него погибли 25 человек, ещё больше 100 – пострадали.
Сильнее всего в тот день досталось центру Белгорода, где в праздничный день было особенно много людей и машин.
Позднее власти решили увековечить память погибших и установить памятник напротив кинотеатра "Победа", а "Сердце Белгорода" рядом стало стихийным мемориалом и символом той трагедии.
