Копыркин отметил, что сегодня как никогда важно проводить объективный научный анализ Армении и особенностей армянской идентичности.
«Идентичности Армении и России настолько тесно переплетены, что иногда их сложно разделить. Следовательно, важно, что арменоведение сейчас пользуется такой популярностью в России и в Институте стран Азии и Африки МГУ создается кафедра преподавания армянского языка. Это те процессы, которые нужно всячески поддерживать», — отметил Копыркин
