علی رغم شایستگی‌های فراوان و کسب بالاترین امتیاز، انجمن علمی پلیمر به عنوان انجمن دوم دانشگاه مورد تقدیر قرار گرفت.
دانشکده مهندسی پلیمر با این حجم فعالیت و انگیزه، یکی از فعال‌ترین و پرانرژی‌ترین دانشکده‌های دانشگاه بوده و این موفقیت‌ها نتیجه تلاش‌های مشترک اعضای هیئت علمی، کارکنان و دانشجویان عزیز است.
در پایان، از تمامی اعضای هیئت علمی، کارکنان محترم و دانشجویان پرتلاش که با همدلی و پشتکار خود زمینه‌ساز این موفقیت‌ها شده‌اند، صمیمانه قدردانی می‌نماییم. بدون حمایت و همراهی شما، دستیابی به این موفقیت‌ها امکان‌پذیر نبود.

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
