آخر ليلةٍ لهذا العام .. كان عامًا مليئًا بلطف اللّه .. مليئًا بالأخطاء والعثرات .. لم نحقق أهدافنا فيه .. لم نصل إلى ما كُنّا نسعى إليه .. أغفلنا العبادات وتهاونّا عن الطّاعات .. ولَربّما قد يكون اليوم هو الفرصة الأخيرة لنا .. لا ينبغي أن نعصي الله فيه .. ولا ننخرط في مظاهر الاحتفال لاحتفالاتٍ ليست من ديننا ولا تخصّنا حتى .. علينا أن نذكرَ اللّه ذكرًا كثيرًا، أن نؤدي سنن رسولِ اللّه ما استطعنا، وأن نقوم الليل بالصّلاة أو القرآن أو حتى طلب العلم أو أيّ عَمل يرضي الله تعالى .. كيلا نكون ممن يتتالىٰ عليهم الغضب وتنزل عليهم اللعنات ..
وقبل حلول منتصف الليل بعشر دقائق سنصلّي ركعتي قضاء حاجة وعند الوصول السجود الأخير نطيـله .. وندعو ونطلب من الله كل شي أردناه في هذا العام ولم نحققه .. نخبره بكلّ ما آذانا وكلّ ما أحزننا ندعوه أن يرحمنا ويعفو عنا .. وألّا يعاقبنا بما فعل السفهاء منّا .. سنفرغ قلوبنا وعقولنا من كلّ شيءٍ سيء لانريده حصل معنا هذا العام ..
وبعد منتصف الليل بخمس دقائق سننهض وسنكون أنهينا عامًا ودخلنا الآخر ونحن بين يدي اللّه عزّ وجل ..
