Є одна приповідка німецька, – казав бесідник: – "dem Bittenden gibt man nichts, dem Drohenden etwas, dem Kӓmpfenden alles" (тому, що просить, не дають нічого, тому, що грозить, дають крихітку, а тому, що бореться, дають все до чиста).
Робітники говорили також про те, щоби завести загальне потайне голосування. Значить, щоби кожний повнолітній чоловік тай жінка мали право голосувати на посла до сойму чи до ради державної до Відня.
Промовляли ще й деякі інші робітники, і всі вони годилися на те, що треба 1. мая святкувати і домагатися для робітних людей більшої пільги. 1-го мая мають всі робітні люде по містах і селах зійтися на збори і радити над своїми справами»
