📸Новые грани заседаний СНО истфака: изучаем стереоскопию!

Стереоскоп — оптический прибор для просмотра объемных изображений, одно из самых популярных развлечений второй половины XIX века.

На встрече доцент @history_uniyar Ольга Куликова рассказала об истории стереоскопов и стереофотографий и о способах их создания. Студенты и преподаватели рассмотрели предоставленную Ольгой Дмитриевной коллекцию картинок-стереопар XIX-XX веков. Использовали при этом раритетную технику — стереоскопы Холмса-Бейтса из 1890-х и стереоскоп от фотоаппарата «Спутник» 1950-60-х годов.

Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine. But, if all of this is new to you, let us explain, dear friends, what on Earth a Telegram is meant to be, and why you should, or should not, need to care. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information.
