Российская фигуристка и уроженка Казани Камила Валиева выразила свою гордость за родной город в котором сейчас проходит саммит БРИКС, в своем телеграм-канале:
«Например, сейчас в Казани проходит Саммит БРИКС, на который специально приехали лидеры более 20 государств. Цифры, конечно, впечатляют, поэтому меня охватывает гордость за свой родной город. Поэтому, если вы еще ни разу не были в столице Татарстана, то самое время это исправить!» — написала она.

"There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. "The inflation fire was already hot and now with war-driven inflation added to the mix, it will grow even hotter, setting off a scramble by the world’s central banks to pull back their stimulus earlier than expected," Chris Rupkey, chief economist at FWDBONDS, wrote in an email. "A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth." Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. But because group chats and the channel features are not end-to-end encrypted, Galperin said user privacy is potentially under threat.
