Он находился на лечении в санатории после полученного ранения, но, поправив здоровье, снова поехал в зону боевых действий. За плечами Романа значительный боевой опыт, включая службу в рядах Российской армии и участие в операциях в Чечне.
Вместе с супругой Ириной, которая трудится в санатории «Барнаульский», он воспитывает двоих замечательных детей. Однако долг превыше всего. Роман находится на СВО с самого ее начала. Конечно, семья переживает за папу, но полностью поддерживает и ждет с победой.
