🥀Скончалась знаменитая регулировщица Победы, участница Великой Отечественной войны — Бранденбургская мадонна Мария Филипповна Лиманская.

Ей было 100 лет. Когда Марии Филипповне было всего 18 лет, она ушла на войну, служила в запасном полку и шила одежду советским воинам. После этого стала регулировщицей. Участвовала в Сталинградской битве, освобождении Симферополя, Белоруссии и Польши, дошла до Берлина.

Самую известную фотографию сделал военный корреспондент Евгений Халдей у Бранденбургских ворот 2 мая 1945 года.

Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists."
