Подготовку водородного полигона к работе проверил губернатор Валерий Лимаренко. Сейчас на объекте идут пуско-наладочные работы, в которых задействованы специалисты МФТИ. Планируется, что первая генерация водорода произойдёт уже через 11 дней. Глава региона поручил заняться благоустройством территории, этот вопрос будет проработан совместно с администрацией города.

Полигон станет одной из ключевых площадок «Архипелага 2024». Здесь будут представлены несколько экспонатов с водородным двигателем: ГАЗель, мотоцикл и «УРАЛ-Н2», который, кстати, на днях прибудет на Сахалин.
