Самокаты запретили оставлять на тротуарах шириной менее 1,5 метров, ближе 15 метров от остановочных пунктов, ближе 5 метров от подземных переходов и на мостах. Депутаты Заксобрания также планируют серьёзно ограничить максимальную скорость самокатчиков.
14 мая губернатор Беглов потребовал запретить езду на электросамокатах по улицам и площадям, пояснив, что на них передвигаются «чудаки».
