As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Project RProject R旨在構建一個屬於全球香港人的社區及經濟共同體(Ecosystem) ，做到香港人靠香港人，拒絕經濟依賴，抵抗欺壓及滲透，使運動可以永續。

我地嘅工作有三個部分：

1. 為抗爭者建立一個全球性支援網絡，包括搵工、創業、升學、培訓及情緒支援。

2. 創造屬於香港人的工作及創業機會；證明香港人可以靠香港人，可以擁有自家品牌及走向世界的產業。

3. 連接全球香港人，建立全球黃色經濟圈。
