Да потому что там это маркер украинства. Это в Москве и Санкт-Петербурге Шевченко просто поэт - вольнодумец. А для Донбасса он знамя Украины. Большевики - украинизаторы им метили русские территории, формируя украинское семантическое пространство. В политехнологиях эти вредители знали толк.
Шевченко, конечно, никакой не идеолог украинского национализма, его во многом мифологизировали и записали в "пророки" задним числом. О чëм, талантливо написал Олесь Бузина в знаменитом "Вурдалаке". Но это никак не отменяет его идеологизированной семантической роли.
