Правящая коалиция Румынии предварительно согласовала даты проведения президентских и парламентских выборов.
Согласно решению социал-демократов и национал-либералов, первый тур президентских выборов проведут 24 ноября, а второй, если таковой будет необходим, 8 декабря.
Предварительная же договорённость по парламентским выборам предполагает их проведение 1 декабря - в национальный день страны, праздничную дату и официальный выходной, выпадающий в этом году на воскресенье, сопровождаемый военными парадами и официальными приёмами.
