شهرداری‌های آلمان از مالیات بر سگ‌ها در سال گذشته میلادی بیشترین میزان درآمد را داشتند.
طبق اعلام اداره آمار فدرال آلمان، خزانه‌های عمومی در این کشور در سال گذشته میلادی حدود ۴۲۱ میلیون یورو از مالیات بر سگ‌ها دریافت کرده‌اند که این میزان ۱.۶ درصد نسبت به سال قبل افزایش داشته است.
میزان و نحوه تعیین مالیات سگ توسط شهرداری‌ها مشخص می‌شود و مبلغ آن معمولا به تعداد سگ‌ها در خانه یا نوع نژاد سگ بستگی دارد.
