«Звезда оппозиции» Надеждин попросил отложить заседание на 10 февраля, чтобы его команда успела сверить все претензии ЦИК к подписям. Избирком проявил «добрую волю» и пошел навстречу кандидатам, отметила Памфилова, перенеся заседание на один день.
📝«В данном случае ЦИК России идет им навстречу, даже несмотря на то, что у каждого была возможность, которой команда Малинковича воспользовалась частично, а команда Надеждина не воспользовалась совсем – присутствовать непосредственно все дни в ЦИКе во время проверки их подписей», – сказала она. ✔️По ее словам, выявленный экспертами процент недействительных подписей у обоих кандидатов довольно существенный – на уровне 14-15%.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. "Like the bombing of the maternity ward in Mariupol," he said, "Even before it hits the news, you see the videos on the Telegram channels."
