Компания уже уезжала домой, когда Избрехт вышел из машины, чтобы проверить разряжено ли его ружье Blaser. В результате депутат смертельно ранил самого себя. Избрехт погиб.

In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
