В сериале рассказывается история молодого химика, ставшего руководителем университета. Он хочет изобрести лекарство от страха, но вместо занятий наукой ему приходится бороться с бюрократией, отвечать на вопросы следователя и что-то делать с чувствами к чиновнице из профильного министерства.
