В начале июля в Еврейской автономной области с рабочим визитом побывали Заместитель Председателя Правительства РФ – полномочный представитель Президента РФ в ДФО Юрий Трутнев и Министр РФ по развитию Дальнего Востока и Арктики Алексей Чекунков. Вместе с губернатором ЕАО Ростиславом Гольдштейном они ознакомились с ходом строительства первого железнодорожного моста между Россией и Китаем Нижнеленинское – Тунцзян.
23 июля на пролетных строениях российской части моста были уложены последние рельсы. Железнодорожные пути российской и китайской частей моста были соединены. Напомним, что мостовой переход рассчитан на поочередный пропуск поездов по железнодорожному пути с колеей двух стандартов: шириной 1520 мм для российского подвижного состава и 1435 мм для китайского.
