Мероприятие приурочено ко Дню памяти погибших при выполнении служебных обязанностей сотрудников правоохранительных органов РФ.
В церемонии возложения цветов к Мемориалу Славы сотрудников МВД, погибших при исполнении служебного долга, приняли участие Председатель Правительства Дагестана Абдулмуслим Абдулмуслимов, министр внутренних дел по РД Абдурашид Магомедов, депутаты Государственной Думы РФ Султан Хамзаев и Нурбаганд Нурбагандов, мэрМахачкалы Юсуп Умавов, руководители правоохранительных органов и др.
Память погибших почтили минутой молчания. В небо были запущены сотни белых шаров в виде «белых журавлей» в память о всех павших в боях воинах.
⭐️Отметим, что мемориал был открыт в Махачкале в 2008 году перед зданием Управления Министерства внутренних дел по РД. На его гранитных плитах высечены имена защитников Дагестана, погибших при исполнении служебных обязанностей.
