حسین علیزاده در بیانیه‌ای به این خبر واکنش نشان داد:
🔹همه‌ی افتخارم در موسیقی ایران همواره عدم حضور در جشنواره موسیقی فجر بوده است؛ این جشنواره فرمایشی‌ست، نه هنری و نه در حد و اندازه‌ی هنر. من از هرگونه بزرگداشت از طرف ارگان‌های حکومتی بی‌نیاز هستم و پیوسته سپاس‌گزار مردم آگاهی‌ام که بی‌دریغ پشتیبان هنر و هنرمندشان در هر شرایطی بوده‌اند./ ایلنا

And I think Jay Powell is a very tepid sort of inflation fighter and he's not going to do as much as he needs to do to get that under control. And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon."
