♦️سد کارده، یکی از مهم‌ترین منابع آبی مشهد که در حدود ۲۰ کیلومتری شمال این شهر و در مسیر جاده کلات قرار دارد، پس از ۳۸ در حال خشک شدن است. این سد روی رودخانه کارده احداث شده و علاوه بر تامین بخشی از آب آشامیدنی مشهد، در کنترل سیلاب‌ها و مدیریت منابع آب منطقه نقش مهمی ایفا می‌کند.
با این حال، وضعیت ذخیره آب این سد به مرحله نگران‌کننده‌ای رسیده و هم‌اکنون کمتر از ۱۰ درصد ظرفیت آن باقی مانده است. کاهش شدید حجم آب، زنگ خطری برای منابع آبی مشهد محسوب می‌شود.
