در پی حمله اسرائیل در تاریخ ۲ تیر ۱۴۰۴، ستاد فرماندهی سپاه سیدالشهدا استان تهران در شهرری، خیابان دیلمان، به‌طور کامل منهدم شد. در این حمله، شماری از فرماندهان ارشد و نیروهای کلیدی سپاه به هلاکت رسیدند.
در جریان اعتراضات آبان۹۸، که مناطق غرب تهران مانند شهریار، اندیشه، نسیم‌شهر، ملارد، اسلام‌شهر و ... به کانون اعتراضات تبدیل شده بودند، سرکوب این مناطق به‌طور خاص به عهده همین سپاه سیدالشهدا بود.
نیروهای این ستاد با دستور مستقیم فرماندهان، دست به سرکوب خشن و قتل عام بیش از ۵۰۰ نفر از معترضان زدند.
پس از این جنایت، فرمانده کل سپاه از سردار حسن‌زاده و این ستاد به عنوان "برترین ناحیه مقابله با اغتشاشات" تقدیر کرد.
