«Я всегда отдавал все силы на тренировках и соревнованиях. И я всегда представлял Республику Саха и свой народ», - сказал на прощание наш выдающийся спортсмен. Он поблагодарил своих родителей, всех болельщиков, огромную благодарность передал своим тренерам. Вспомнил своих незабвенных наставников Афанасия Федоровича Петрова и Артура Иннокентьевича Пахомова. «Они всегда в моем сердце», - сказал Василий.
